Satanism and Kindness?

Satanism and kindness. Some would say that is a contradiction. But is it?

I consider myself to be a kind person. I am an animal rights advocate.

I volunteer at a local shelter. Is that contradictory to what Satanism stands for?

Some say that Satanism is all about self indulgence, doing what pleases you

and that kindness is a sign of weakness.

Is that all though? From an Satanic point of view, is this really the case?

Of course, Satanism is a very personal belief/philosophy so I can only share my personal view of this: I believe that Satan is the God of this world; therefore, it makes sense to me to care about this planet and living beings on it. Especially those who are defenseless and easily taken advantage of, such as animals and children.

I think it is a great way of offering time and devotion to Satan. It could be considered as an offering to Him.

However, as I look at all of this from a Satanic point of view, there are definitely limits to this kindness.

I don't believe in wasting time on people who try to take advantage of me or the system, or who obviously do not want to be helped. Ridiculous ideas like 'love your enemy' and 'turn the other cheek' do not sit well with me. I consider those to be a waste of time and in conflict with my Satanic beliefs.

I believe in sharing my kindness with those who deserve it. I think that we, as Satanists, can be kind and caring in His honour, as long as we are inspired by His knowledge and as long as it is our free will that guides us there, since that is an essential part of being a Satanist.
